As Southerners on tour, we had high hopes for this northern gem, and it didn’t disappoint. From the moment we walked in, the warm, friendly staff made us feel welcome. The fish was fresh and flaky, the batter perfectly crispy, and the chips were just as they should be—golden and delicious. Generous portions and fantastic value for money sealed the deal.

Nice local chippy whilst on holiday, nice Halloween touch too, staff friendly, can get busy at certain times of day, reasonable prices too, chips definitely better second time round but did enjoy the fish

Was very nice. The fish was massive. It's some of the best we have had for a while. It was worth the 30-minute wait. It was very busy they cooked everything to order from what I saw.

Mate come on you can try harder than this. This could be a goldmine if you cooked fresh fish!! Warmed up fish with triple batter cooked more than once is a joke. If you don’t buck your ideas up this place will deffo be shut down by trading standards. Sorry to sound harsh but reality hurts sometimes. People will not come back if not fresh as stated!!

Don't know what happened to the normally brilliant fish & chips of late but the food I took home was,,,,, well I'll just say ime really disappointed they let me take it home however everyone has a blip at sometime & it was Fri 13th busy late on 7.30 ☹️

The best chip shop I’ve been to, so fresh and glorious portions sizes, check out my picture of the regular fish and regular chips!
All items are made to order, so expect a wait, but once you have your food, you’ll forgot all about the wait.
Really nice staff too, who are very kind. Ate here multiple times, whilst staying @ Parkdean Sunnydale.

To say it is cooked to order the chips were cold and didn't even look like they had just been cooked the fish was ok all in all wouldn't go again

Staff all very pleasant and happy to see you.Had large sausage and some great chips.Daughter had chip bun with gravy,some of the best she had tasted.All good sized portions ,well cooked at a great price,will call again next time down coast.Couple of picnic tables to eat at outside in the sun,bonus.

Fish very thin but nice white fish the batter thin but soggy, chips could have been cooked more. Sausage wasn't very nice and had a cheap filling.

amazing fish and chips, lovely portion sizes. really cheap pricing considering the current climate! the gravy was to die for and it was all round a near perfect meal. my only complaint would be it was a little greasy but it’s a chip shop it’s going to be. amazing customer service from the lad that served me. 9.5/10

Cracking little fish and chip shop just over the road from the parkdean Sunnydale caravan park we stayed at in the October half term break.
Walked in and ordered and everything was freshly cooked for us. All the food was REALLY nice and a decent price and the two ladies behind the counter were very happy and friendly.
If we visit this neck of the woods again we will definitely head back here as well.

Came on holiday to Sunnydale in saltfleet , and found this gem of a chip shop. Wow the food is brilliant, portion size brilliant , and the staff are so friendly and helpful, if I could give 6⭐ I would , this is probably the best chippy I have been to for a very long time. Totally recommend it .
